The Viking Ski Club was founded in 1973 to promote the sport of skiing in the Michiana area. The majority of our members are from South Bend, Mishawaka, Elkhart, Goshen, Laporte and Granger, Indiana as well as Niles, Saint Joseph and Benton Harbor, Michigan. The club is dedicated to the sport of skiing and fun with friends. The club hosts a variety of events in both the summer and winter. Typically, there are one week long western ski trip organized by the club as well as several weekend trips.

The club also sponsors a racing team and is a member of both the Indiana Ski Council (ISC) and Chicago Metropolitan Ski Council (CMSC). Meetings are held at on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Summer activities typically include things like canoe trips, whitewater rafting, camping, bicycling and cookout.
